The Australian Army has long since been regarded as one of the most formidable fighting formations in the Commonwealth realm. Despite generally being numerically inferior in most of its engagements, it has always punched above its weight in conflicts and arguably remains the dominant military force in the south west pacific region.

William is a Captain in the Australian Army currently serving in the 1st Mechanised Brigade based in Darwin. He is a graduate of the Australian Defence Force Academy where he majored in Australian Military History. He maintains a keen interest in British military colonial history and is a member of the Australian Army History Society.
